Shield616 works tirelessly to help first responders go towar ds danger knowing that they have the best physical protection available an d the love of their community behind them. Their passion is to serve first responders\, including police\, sheriff\, fire\, and EMS.
\nThe TOU R de SHIELD616 is a fundraising bike ride on June 19-23 that is making a s top in Excelsior. The ride helps to provide vests and is also a promise to never forget those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. This year they will b e honoring Pope County Sheriff Deputy Josh Owen EOW 4-15-23.
\nOu r Savior has the honor of hosting about 40 riders\, many of which are firs t responders\, on Thursday\, June 20. They will be arriving in the lat e afternoon\, eating supper\, and staying overnight in our Community Cente r. They will eat breakfast and continue their ride across Minnesota.

\nI did this study at my country church in Indiana\, and believe it will be a ble ssing to you. One participant in Indiana said “I sure wish I would have we nt through this in my 20’s or 30’s.” We all agreed that it was a blessing to us ‘older men\,’ and it would be a life long blessing to a younger man and his family.
